I am running for the Alaska State House because I believe we need full-time leadership in our state government. My wife Val and I moved to District 32 in 1972 with a small piece of land and high hopes, and since then we have been fortunate enough to raise a family here and watch Anchorage and the Turnagain Arm grow over time.
It is my belief that local government should be accessible to constituents, and responsible for solving problems that affect our daily lives. The Legislature should be working to make our streets safer, our schools and roads better, and to protect the integrity of our land.
